Regionally Accredited Correspondence Programs

There are several different types of school accreditation. Regional accreditation means that the school has been certified as acceptable by one of the six nationally-recognized accrediting organizations in the country, each of which is responsible for a specific geographic area.

A regionally accredited program will provide a transcript (or diploma) that may be more readily recognized and accepted by other secondary schools as well as colleges and universities. Other forms of accreditation are available, and some correspondence schools choose not to seek accreditation. A program's inclusion in the following list is not necessarily meant to convey endorsement by the Florida Department of Education.
