2010-13 Planning and Implementation Grant
The Department has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Charter Schools Program (CSP) Planning and Implementation Grant (also known as the "Start-up Grant"). The general purpose of this grant is to provide financial assistance for the planning, program design, and initial implementation of charter schools and expand the number of high quality charter schools in Florida.
Only charter schools that have applied and been approved by their sponsor to open in the 2010-2011 school year or charter schools that opened in the 2009-2010 school year and have not previously received a project award are eligible to apply.
Additional details are provided in the RFP and attachments posted below. Please note that this is a competitive grant and eligible applicants are not guaranteed funding.
