Charter School Applicant Training

A charter school applicant must participate in training provided by the Department of Education before filing an application.

This training is provided by the Department of Education at no cost to the participants; however, participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and any related expenses (accommodations, meals, etc).

There are no restrictions on who can participate; however, if the applicant is a management company or other nonprofit organization, the charter school principal and chief financial officer or his or her equivalent must also participate in the training. All participants must register individually.

2010Training Site Selection

New Applicant Training will be provided in three locations throughout the state. Training is conducted from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and attendees must be present for the duration of the training to receive a completion certificate.
